Inbound Voice - UK Non-Geographic numbers
We offer non-geographic numbers in all commonly used ranges. These are our own primary allocations from OFCOM, over our BT interconnect, minimising the risk and cost to you.
Our non-geographic numbers have no rental or set-up charge, the only cost being any incoming call cost in the case of 0800s or termination to PSTN if applicable. Termination to SIP is available at no cost on all number ranges and out-payments are available to qualifying customers. For something extra-special, Gold Numbers are available in all prefixes for a one-off fee according to the number's value.
Many providers charge hefty set-up, rental and call charges for non-geographics. We can port numbers across from BT or a BT reseller or allocate replacement Simwood numbers.
Numbering can be instantly alloocated, provisioned and controlled via our SOAP API.
We have primary allocations in the following prefixes:
0800 |
UK freephone access. Calls generally free to caller, chargeable to Simwood customer. Onward delivery to VoIP (SIP) at no charge. |
0845 |
UK 'local' access. Billed to caller at the 'local' rate. (Note: this is not always the same charge as a local rate call.). Terminated to Simwood customer by VoIP (SIP) at no charge. Out-payments available to qualifying customers. |
0844 |
UK Caller charged 5p per minute at all times. Terminated to Simwood customer by VoIP (SIP) at no charge. Out-payments available to qualifying customers. |
0871 |
UK caller charged 10p per minute at all times. Terminated to Simwood customer by VoIP (SIP) at no charge. Out-payments available to qualifying customers. |
070 |
Personal numbers. Charged to call at up to 50p per minute. Terminated to Simwood customer by VoIP (SIP) at no charge. Out-payments available to qualifying customers. |
