Calling Card providers recognise the impact quality can have on their bottom line. At Simwood we offer only the highest quality routes to deliver both high ASR and ACD to maximise your ultimate profit. We also offer a full portfolio of UK access numbers with no channel charge, and no per minute charge (except 0800)! All this delivered to your platform over our own network, optimised for VoIP.
Non-geographic access numbers
We offer the full portfolio of non-geographic numbers from 0800 (UK toll-free / freephone) through, 0845 to 0871. These are generally available at little or no rental charge with onward call delivery charged at our competitive wholesale rates. Calls can be delivered to VoIP or any PSTN destination worldwide with intelligent routing as standard and virtually no constraints on volume (subject to a traffic forecast). 'Gold' numbers are available in all ranges.
Geographic access numbers / DDIs / DIDs
We offer access numbers in every locality within the UK for a nominal flat monthly rental, irrespective of usage. These enable genuine local rate access by your customers in the locality of the number and avoid the issues associated with calling non-geographic numbers from mobile networks or overseas. Calls are delivered onto our network from our carrier interconnects and then routed as you prefer. This can be to any VoIP (SIP) destination or PSTN number worldwide.
Porting
If you have existing UK numbers (including non-geographic) from BT or a BT reseller (ask us if in doubt), we can 'port' your number(s) onto the Simwood network. You keep the number but have the full capabilities described above.
A-Z termination
We believe we offer the highest quality A-Z routes in the business. Routes are either our own directs or by connection to a relevant tier-1 or tier-2 transit provider. We do not purchase 'grey routes' nor routes where the media may travel over a non-optimised route. All in all, you can rely on our A-Z for the best in SIP to PSTN termination to any destination worldwide.
Specialist termination
We can offer bespoke rates for volume termination to key destinations by VoIP interconnect to one of our PoPs either locally or over the open internet. Quality is assured by our VoIP optimised network and insistence on premium quality routes.
